I today dropped of a urine specimen per Drs orders to the Out Patient Lab on Second floor. The waiting room was standing room only and only one employee in the area. Not thinking I needed to sign in and wait I placed it on a desk in the business office. I called and informed an employee of my actions and was informed I needed to sign a consent form before they could process it. Sunday night I came into the ER with severe gallbladder pain. After hours of setting crying in pain I was told they wouldn’t treat the pain because nothing was wrong. Here I lay 5 days later in ICU after having my gallbladder which was the size of my kidney removed, you know, because the APRN on duty decided nothing was wrong and gave me the junkie speech. Start listening to your patients before you kill them please.
ER staff was terrible, Physcian was a quack.
I only have experience with their HR which was significantly lacking. I played phone tag for several weeks before finally getting in touch. When I did, rather than set up an interview for any of the positions I applied for they wanted to negotiate salary BEFORE even allowing me to interview. I was told point blank "Well, a nurse of your experience is only worth ____", when I told them I would not accept what was essentially new grad RN salary when I have 12 years neuro stepdown experience, they told me they would "see what w... read more
RecommendedVery wonderful polite staff since we’ve walked through the doors they’ve been really helpful and they treat you with respect!!!! This is by far the most amazing hospital I’ve been to from the cafeteria gift shop valet security x-Ray transport lab pct LPN RN Doctors all the employees really if I left any department out I’m sorry about that I’ve tried to thank everyone for treating us like family here!!!
This place is ridiculous. It’s dirty and run down. You’d think with what they charge patients they could at least fix something. 1 elevator is working. The air conditioning vent in my father’s room sound like an industrial fan and never shuts off. The nurses and other staff however are some of the most kind and sweet people you will find anywhere.
My mom went to this hospital 3 days ago very ill. They run only one test and that was an x-ray when in reality they should have run blood test because she doesn't just have pneumonia in her lung she has and infection in her blood and stomach. She will not be going back to that hospital I guarantee it !
I recently became very ill while traveling from Michigan to North Carolina. I stopped at Our Lady of Bellefonte and they took extremely good care of me. They were very kind and compassionate.
Love OLBH. Awesome staff and very efficient at getting things done in a timely manner!
