RecommendedThis was not my first trip to the ER and I was super happy to hear you have Child Life now. This makes such a difference to child patients.
RecommendedCame to do bloodwork. The phlebotomist was extremely rude. Calls my name, I was sitting. She says have a seat, and I had to ask her where. She points to the room and says rudely in there. I have enough going on and didn’t appreciate her rudeness.

the slow wait time in the er i waited 4 hours to see a doctor then the nurce was super rude. was the worse er visit ever in my life i will never go to this hospital again
Depending on which doctor's it can be great, life-saving care. On the other hand, some doctors aren't qualified and need to defer. I had to ask to be transferred after 4 weeks of making me iller. I transferred to DMC where they saved my life!
-1* on Monday 2/11/19 hubby took his mom to ER for possible pneumonia, waited for 2 1/2 hours, then they gave her some kind of medicine that dropped her heart rate to 34 beats per minute. the only time the doctor came in was to say she needed a pacemaker, he left the room and never came back. The next thing you know they are transferring her to Traverse City. Thank goodness they sent her there because she didn't need a pacemaker, the problem was caused by a med they gave her. This was very poor care and gross incompetence.
RecommendedI had both my babies delivered here and the nurses were awesome! 16 hour labors for both boys and both over 9lbs. The nurses I had both times had a lot of patience and I appreciate they took the time to visit. My first had some things happen that are still talked about today and the staff handled it very well!
