The "doctor " never saw my wife for the 4 days she was there. When he finally came in he introduced himself as a partner of the real doctor come to find out he was not a doctor of any sort and she almost died there from the lack of effort and organization. Florida Hospital saved her and ran the test she needed while this hospital actually made her worst by the hour .
We have $1,058.50 worth of charges on our bill for services we did not receive. I have spent months trying to have these charges removed from our account, and spent over 20 hours on the phone with the billing agency and hospital personnel. I have 5 pages of notes on every phone call and statement. We have made regular payments towards what we do owe and are now being threatened with being sent to collections. Only an irresponsible, undependable hospital would practice such blatant neglect as to allow an elderly patient to be unsupervised and fall, then retroactively place blame and attempt to sue that same patient. The greed and malpractice being performed here is unacceptable. I fear for the safety and well-being of any person who may need healed, screened, or monitored at this hospital; they are sadly risking more than only their current situation, physically and financially.
