Another successful visit to Dr. Smith and his staff. I have had multiple surgeries over the past 15 years and the experience is always excellent. I moved to Myrtle Beach a few years ago and will continue to travel back to Richmond to have Dr. Smith work on me. His entire staff is very knowledgeable and super easy to work with. I will be having knee surgery in a few weeks and am looking forward to being pain free again a few weeks post surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Smith for Knee, Shoulder and Elbow surgery!

My daughter has trigger thumb, and it has gotten more intense lately. We usually see a different doctor that has been keeping watch on it, but in an attempt to get her in quickly, we switch to Dr Hepper for a visit today. He entered the room with a horrible attitude and the first words out of his mouth related to surgery. He aggressive... read more

Be careful of Dr. Stewart. It’s sad somebody can’t read an x-ray about a broken arm. This place is really going downhill.

However, this review is in regards to receiving a $1,700 bill 26 months after surgery. Please be warned that in Virginia, a provider can bill you up to 36 months after service. OrthoVirginia waited TWO YEARS to get information back to my insurance company, which resulted in said new bill. If this had been completed in a timely fashion, I would have hit my out-of-pocket max for 2022, wh... read more

I went to OrthoVA for treatment of a broken wrist and my outcome was abysmal. They initially put me in the wrong brace which wasn't corrected until my PA noticed it in the follow up appointment 4 weeks later. It has now been 2 months since my fracture and after consulting a different practice, I will be needing surgery to fully recover. I suspect this is mostly due to the fact my wrist wasn't properly supported for the first 4 weeks of healing. Also, they refuse to send x-rays elsewhere unless you pick them up in person. If ... read more
