Best orthopedic doctor in the area
Total knee replacement a year later turned out better than I ever imagined it could. I walk and get around as well as I did 20 years ago and don’t even think about it most of the time unless someone else brings it up. Ideal outcome! Bravo!
I enjoy my visits with Dr. Shaia. I have had 3 visits so far and i like his honesty and concern. It is jsuch a pleasure to have a professional place to come to and air my concerns and problems.
Follow up to surgery done 6 years ago
I've been a patient of Dr Shia for several years. I recently had a uni knee replacement and could not have received better care. He called the night before the surgery just to assure me and wanted to see if I had any questions. He is a honest and direct professional whom I highly recommend.
I had my third postop visit w/Dr. Shaia on 7/4/19. I like him very much. He listens to you if you've got something to say and is always polite. I've seen negative reviews because of his "temperament." If you are so thin-skinned that you need to be talked to as if you were a child Dr. Shaia is not your man. IF you want a superb ortho surgeon you cannot do better than Dr. Anthony Shaia!

Dr Shaia’s skill rankings/outcomes attracted me to consulting him about “how much time” I have before needing a knee replacement. I found him personable, efficient, and willing to answer questions in a manner I understood. He laid out options from least to most “invasive” and his office has followed through within hours.
