Dr. Kouyoumjian is amazing! His staff is always nice and professional. I had a major shoulder surgery in September of 2017, it was great until I did something stupid and tore a tendon and rotator, back I went. He did my surgery at end of April and it’s barely July and I am 100% recovered and back to normal activities. I can not say enough about him. Great bedside manner. He cares about his patients!
He looked at an old MRI and did not assess my shoulder at all. C'mon there are tests for torn labrum and rotator cuff and I was being seen for shoulder pain. A monkey could do your job.
Dr. K is understand and caring about the patient's concerns. He has repaired one knee and both shoulders of mine in the last seven or eight years. He goes the extra mile to ensure that everything is corrected to make the repairs as good as possible. What Dr. K. did with my destroyed right shoulder was amazing. Due to circumstances beyone my control, Dr. K has done 4 hip replacement surgeries on me. I will always refer to him where my ortho needs are concerned. Dr. Kouyoumjian is very compassionate and caring. Right before my last surgery, I had a panic attack and he was the first to sooth me and put me at ease with everything. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. K for ALL of your ortho needs!
Dr. K is the best! Professional, personable and very detailed. I had rotator cuff surgery December 16, 2021 and by April 6, 2022 I have completed my Physical Therapy and I owe my fast recovery to Dr. K and my Physical therapist. I would refer Dr. K to anyone needing sports related surgery or for seniors that need extra care before and after surgery. He's the best!!
Dr. K performed total hip replacement on my left hip. I cannot speak highly enough about his expertise and how smoothly my entire experience was. My outcome has been outstanding and I would highly recommend Dr. K.
I have used Dr K for two total knee replacement surgeries in the last 6 years. With my last one being 6 weeks ago. Dr K and his staff have given me great care thru the diagnosis surgery and physical therapy. Dr K always takes the time to answer any questions that I may have. Dr K truly a great doctor/surgeon! Came to Ortho Texas and Dr. K specifically on a personal and primary care doctor referral. Very Glad I did! My knee had been having issues for about 10 years and was starting to lock up on a regular basis. 2 previous specialist just pushed me off saying there was nothing really wrong. Dr. K listened, took the scans necessary, and then advised me what he understood to be happening. Had a ruptured tendon in the knee and Dr. K helped take care of it. He was fantastic leading me through what had happened and what his way forward would be. He is a tremendous Surgeon. I highly recommend Dr. K!
