I just had surgery yesterday on my ankle and have had nothing but a great experience ! From the lady that checked me in to the nurse that got me ready for surgery, the anesthesiologist, and the nurse that was with me during surgery. Everybody was great and friendly ! Surgery ran 45 minutes late, but that will happen ! I would have hoped that the surgeon took extra time for me too , if necessary ! From first visit to surgery everyone there is very nice and helpful. From assistants to doctors everyone explained things to me so I would understand what was going on. Would definitely recommend orthopedic and fracture clinic to others.
I am now pushing sixty one this year and unfortunately have severe osteoarthritis and need both hips completely replaced. Now Dr. Paul J. Duwelius is apparently the best of the best of the best hip replacement surgeons in the Portland Oregon area; I have customers and coworkers that have had total hip replacements by him and they are walking like they are in there twenties. The problem is with the scheduling department at the Orthopedic plus Fracture clinic located at 11782 SW Barnes in Portland Oregon. Please be warned ....... read more
most notably the worst experience at a medical office that I have ever had and I didn't even get to step foot inside. The authorization department has the worst attitude and will not lift a finger to help when things go wrong. if there was a negative star I would give them that. avoid them at all costs!!!
These folks are the best. Had knee & shoulder done.
