Orthodox Auto does shady business. Would not recommend under any circumstance
by not promising a price to a volume transmission shop and then at the at pick up, figure out they inventoried their product wrong and label a automatic trans as a manual trans. (like that takes a very Special person to get mixed up as they're are a number of large items that jump out at you. Torque converter for starters) Then have the nerve to not even work with the requesting shop after they committed to a price and had the shop sell it to a customer at said agreed price. Incompetent representatives, spent over 3 hours there trying to pay for a $4000 engine dealing with 3 different reps, all contradicting each other about the different payment methods for large sums. Hours on the phone with my financial institution transferring money back and forth to appease their payment options s, while inciting fees to do so. This company is NOT HONORABLE! Do not buy from them! I purchased an engine from them and have been trying to get a replacement since the day it was installed! I called Kevin was all apologetic and said no problem I'll get you taken care of! Well I didn't know just how he was going to "take care of me" Sent my replacement (that I was to pick up) to some garage, ever since it's been one line after another of lip service leading to flat out ignoring me! Great Company!! If They Made A Mistake They Will Find A Way To Fix It And More!!!!
Customer service sucked. Tried to give me a credit after I drove an hour to get an A rated part that turned out to be damaged, i also called 3 hours ahead of time and they still didn't have the part pulled when i got there. 2 hrs of travel time and 3 hrs of waiting around time for a part that was damage and i even told them before i left the house to please check the part again and call me if its damaged. They would have sold me the part as is if I didn't notice the damage myself. Shady place.
