Saw Dr Martin OCT 2017 and after he evaluated my shoulder we agreed to try Physical therapy before surgery however surgery was more than likely inevitable but Both of us wanted to be conserveted which I appreciated. Unfortunately although PT helped it was not the cure and July 2018 I had shoulder surgery. All I can say is he prepared me for what to potentially expect and It was exactly as he had prepared me for if not better. Shoulder is 100% now thanks to Dr Martin and team.
Dr. Martin was absolutely spot on from the first day I went in to his office through my last follow up! He was patient with me even though I didn't believe I had torn my rotator cuff and lastly, my bicep tendon! I had a frozen shoulder going into surgery and he had to stretch it out first and then do the surgery. I also had to go to Physical Therapy 4 days later, but it paid off and I did every exercise every day for those first four months! I am released within 6 months of surgery!
I absolutely Loved everything about Dr. Sheldon Martin. Very professional and great bed side manner. He was kind, always concerned with how I felt, explained everything before and after surgery thoroughly. I always felt that I was in good hands. Very strict with the PT parodical...which I liked. I have been released today...because the healing process was a success. Excited!!! But if I need any, Dr. Martin said just to call him. So awesome. I have sent 3 of my friends to him.
Total knee replacement could not have gone better. I have not taken 1 pain pill since coming out of surgery. I was off walker and cane within 3 days. 12 weeks later and doing great. Dr. Martin is very straight forward, and tells it like it is.
If you need a trustworthy orthopedic doc. DR.MARTIN is who you need to see.
Dr. Martin is a superior surgeon with a no-nonsense approach and a kind demeanor. He and his team repaired my AC joint and clavicle. I was quite anxious going into the situation, but Dr. Martin took the time to explain my problem, options and outcomes. He did not hurry me during my office visits. And he made sure that all of my questions were answered. If you want to heal correctly, check him out. He's got all the right stuff.
Dr. Sheldon Martin was "five star" from beginning to end! it is now 13 months since I had a massive rotator cuff repair, open surgery was the only way to go, he did an amazing job the 8" scar is almost invisible! Way to go! Doctor Martin comes highly receommended in every way!

Recently had a shoulder replacement by Dr. Martin. Dr. Martin and his staff are professional, experienced practitioners and I would highly recommend Dr. Martin to anyone requiring an orthopedic physician. He took the time to explain in detail what I should expect before, during and after surgery; and was responsive and attentive to my needs. It was a very positive experience thanks to Dr. Martin.
