Dr Martin has many pre-surgery prerequisites from the patient which protects the patient, the doctor, and the facility which prevents many negative outcomes. Post surgery results were impeccable, as well as the Piper Surgery Center aftercare was extremely reliable.

I went to see Dr. Martin for a frozen shoulder. I saw his assistant first for about 3 minutes which was a waste of time and then the doctor came in for less than a minute. YES LESS THAN A MINUTE. He was arrogant, rude, uninformative and basically told me that if i didn't do what he wanted me to do i will not get better. He wanted to give me a cortisone injection which i think are just money makers. They are a bandaid and they hurt. He did not tell me about the meds he was sending to the pharmacy . My experience with Dr. Sheldon Martin was horrible to say the lest. I visited him twice and had to wait over an hour before someone came. On the second visit he gave me a cortisone injection in my right knee. I suffer with severe anxiety and he didn’t communicate that he wait about to inject the needle. I waived my hand and you would have thought that I hit him. He was very rude and insensitive since I was already in a lot of pain. Dr Martin was very thorough and got me in for surgery right away, even with an extremely busy schedule. He made sure I was aware of what he was going to do as well as what might need to happen if he was unable to get to the entire area. I felt extremely confident under his care. He is a great doctor and I would recommend him to anyone.

Great doctor! Went in for a consultation for a broken shoulder and he was very professional and informative in regards to the surgery, and expectations. Got me in within a few days for surgery and everything went very will. Had 5 months worth of follow-up appointments and he never acted rushed. He took time to make sure everything was healing like it should, and to answer any questions I had. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a good, experienced orthopedic surgeon. I would definitely go back to him.

Dr. Martin and his staff were excellent to work with, professional, and put me at ease when I needed rotator cuff repair surgery. My recovery went very well and have been fully cleared just over 5 months post op! Thank you!!

Fractured shoulder repaired. Since this was an injury that needed repaired ASAP I didn't have time to research valley docs. My Physicians office referred me to Orthoarizona where I was paired with Dr. Martin. He was straight to the point with my prognosis. Very professional, confident, experienced. Surgery was outpatient. I'm 4 mo's out from surgery. PT's done. Almost good as new! Follow up in a year. Shoulder replacement's in my future. Hope he hasn't retired by then. Btw, very caring staff!

If you are not a "rich" star athlete he will care less about your care... case in point. Two failed shoulder replacements. Dr Martin has no concern...
