I was misdiagnosed by Dr. Short and was told that I had a cracked heel bone. After wearing a boot and many casts for 7-8 months, I decided to see a different doctor for a second opinion. I have plantar fasciitis. I let Ortho TN know about this, but they continuously billed me after stating they would talk to the billing department about it. I’m still expected to pay for the doctor’s mistake.
Terrible service and communication. Dr's nurses are never available through their direct care lines and won't return calls for over a week and a half after a surgery. Randomly scheduling appointments without asking me. I had to go in person just to get some answers. Then of all else gives me an attituted. Canceled everything with them and taking my business elsewhere that makes me a priority.
I have had 3 surgeries @ Ortho Tennessee. Although the surgeries have gone well, I have had countless appointments, and I have never been to an appointment there that wasn’t at least an hour late. They should have a system to let you know or allow you to check in without wasting a significant amount of time setting in the waiting room.
Would not recommend. Had to pay way to much for office visit only.
I had my hip replaced this morning at the OrthoTennessee ASC and it was a fantastic experience. Dr. Sherrell was great! He explained everything in a very easy to understand manner. I was in and out by noon. The support staff is awesome, from the PT Rachel, to the prep nurse Casey, including the CRNA and Dr Vega the Anesthesiologist. OrthoTennessee gave me a top notch customer experience. I could not be more pleased!
