We got transferred to Arnold Palmer from Daytona at 1am with our 1 yr old who after a week of dr/ER visits was only getting worse. Everything from the transport team who picked us up to the Dr's and nurses waiting for us were EXCELLENT! And finally with great Dr's and great nurses on the special care unit we had a diagnosis and a plan! Everyone was super friendly and accommodating to my little man! Both the Dr's and nurses took time with him and to listen to my concerns ! thanks Emma and Daisey for your excellent nursing car... read more
We waited over 3 hours before we got out of the waiting room. Then when we finally saw Dr. Shari Seidman, she was rude, condescending, and obviously was never taught not to interupt. Further, instead of using novicane with a needle that would have had the stitches area ready in 10 minutes, at 12:30 A.M. she used a numbing cream (even though I asked her to use the needle kind) that took an hour to work(and it didn't actually work), thus delaying our already 4.5 hour tour. This has to be one of the worse hospitals in the world I don't know how they could possibly have 4 stars.
The last time I went they were caring concerned this time I felt as if he was blown off I bring my son home still having high fevers still not drinking etc you guys did no testing on him!
We arrived early as requested and we registered. Everything was pretty easy and everyone greeted us with kindness. My daughter was scheduled for a dental visit. Her Dr was running behind schedule which was out of his control but the hospital had someone come in and she brought my daughter plenty of things to keep her occupied. The nurses were so sweet and made her feel comfortable. After her procedure waiting for a wheel chair was a challenge but other then that we had a great experience. Thank you staff!
My son had great nurses, techs, physicians, and surgeons. All staff at this hospital are warm, friendly, and caring. My son said "they are a 5 star" especially because of the transport young lady who said he could keep the pillow for the card ride home to rest his rest broken arm. He couldn't believe that he could just keep the pillow for his comfort. This is the kind of hospital they are.
Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children is the BEST!! Been going there for my son, Samuel's health care for 12 years. Doctors, nurses, lab techs and registration clerks, they are TOP NOTCH!!
Went with a friend and her daughter, her daughter needed surgery and it was quick and the app EASE is great! We didn't have to wonder what was going on they kept us updated and that really helped my friend out. The service was great, nice staff!!
