if your hungray, this is it.. – Alot of food for the price, great place to go after bars close, but expect a wait everyone knows about this place. And there's not alot of room.. all types of people come here, enjoy..............
They Call The Police On You – A friend and I went to the O H&S House to study. We bought some food and began to read. After about an hour this squirrelly cook comes up to us and mumbles something about getting busy at 2am and that we had been doing homework for a while. To be courteous, we moved to a back table, thinking that we had until 2am, another hour. Ice Cube's Favorite – The only spot in Portland that Ice Cube, "must go to" when he comes to Portland. The OHSH is a great place to go for breakfast and late night food. I'd reccomend it to anyone.
Doesn't anyone work during the week? – Loved this place since 1987, when buddies and I came after work at night. Unfortunately, it's gotten much too crowded since then with all sorts of screamy teenagers, and it's the only place to get those addictive hotcakes. They need to expand and kick more people out who are belligerent.
Best pancakes in the known universe! – They've got the richest, yummiest flapjacks ever flapped on the face of the planet at any point in history. My family has been dining in this tiny restaurant for 3 generations. They are fabulous! I've personally tried just about every menu item, and never been disappointed. My personal favorite is the New York steak breakfast with hashbrowns. Delectable! A great idea at 2am – Funny how appealing this place becomes after the bars close. Long lines, greasy food and a sloppy drunk clientele are somehow okay. Portions are gigantic and the hotcakes and eggs are just right to fix what ails ya. I've never been here during the day, though...
Good 'cakes, open late – After a show, this is a fun place to get a stack of pancakes and a chocolate milkshake.
