I spent three days looking and driving affordable cars on 82nd avenue. The new car dealers said that cars in my price range are on 82nd. I went to three so called finance specialists places and dealt with guys who smelled like marijuana at one and a guy who smelled like alcohol at another. the owner is a liar sell's crappy used car's that are fixed to get you off the lot and then leave you stranded . he was a racist against mexicans and black's while i was there thinking i wuold laugh at his racist jokes and comments about the people who work for him and customers . well i showed him i screwed him over on a car he paid off on a loan i had on it from when i bought it from him . and he sold the car and took over a $ 2.000 dollar hit on that one be cause he sells piece of crap cars . and cuold not resell it for w... read more

On April 24th, 2012 My dad and I decided we would go look at dealers ships on 82nd ave Portland,OR (we come from the coast) We came across this Dealer "Oregon Car Connection" we saw that they had a wide variety of cars. My dad saw a Yellow ford f-150 he fell in love with the truck. Nov. 2011 I needed to replace the brakes all around. Took it to Ron Tonkin Acura and they told me I need $3400 more worth of work done to the car ON TOP of the $4700 I just spent. busy place, nice guys – I am 6'7" and finding a truck or car for me is a chore. I went to several easy finance places and didnt find anything that fit me or my financing. I went into Oregon Car Connection and they were extremely busy. I waited and one of the two sales guys broke loose enough to help me. He was extremely polite. I could see he was busy. He was direct and helped me. He got me in and out in a timely fashion considering he was juggling two of us. Nice guys worth the visit.
LOCAL GUYS ARE GOOD – I just bought a vehicle from my neighborhood dealer. They are ok. My sales guy was great. A regular guy. His boss was a typical car salesman type. But I like the car and overall I am happy with my purchase.
