A must for dinner. Exceptional service, inviting atmosphere , best steaks. Chrissy, the hostess, very personable, steered us next door to saloon for drinks while we had short wait for our table. We shared prime ribeye- enough for two for sure. We will be return diners, can't wait. Thanks to owners/ managers and entire staff for job very well done.
Excellent food! Great selection of wines. Service was impeccable. Manager stopped by 3 or 4 times. Great little location in Durango.
Food was very good I had the surf and turf and it was so good I almost ordered it again instead of dessert. Had the server been more available would have been 5 stars.
Sautéed onions on the steak are fantastic. Service is always great and the food is better.
AMAZING meal.....plus it was 1/2 off bottle of wine night! Chateaubriand is out of this world!
We arrived late on Friday evening after a long day of travel,without a reservation, and had a table within 20 minutes. The food, particularly the T-Bone steak, was delicious and the service top notch. We will be back the next time we are in Durango.

Awesome dinner and perfect ambience for the menu and location. Can't stop thinking about it! Brought the toddler, which was a little risky as it is not the most kid friendly environment. Nonetheless, it worked out fine thanks to the awesome staff who kept her engaged with activities and were willing to tweak menu options for kids.

I was in town for business so I sat at the bar and the bartender Mark and the two Jacks (one just in from elk hunting and the other celebrating his 22nd birthday) I met were delightful and we had great conversation. I ordered a wedge salad and ribeye medium rare and shared the whiskey cake dessert with one of the Jack's. The atmosphere, service and company was great. The food was delicious and the Pinot Noir tasty.

My husband and I came in for our first wedding anniversary and these folks made a wonderful memory for us. The service was outstanding! Coming from two servers ourselves. The bartender created a spectacular rum cocktail for my husband. The food was beyond words, all courses, including the bacon butter on the corn bread. Our server Sean was very knowledgeable about the menu, polite, cool and on top of it the whole time. We look forward to returning to The Ore House in the near future and I recommend this restaurant to anyone.
