First of all the parking is valet only. There's a self parking sign but it's a lie. I enjoyed the soup and salad bar but the cheese bread seemed cheaply made, very thin and floppy and some bits were even a little burned. My swordfish was amazing and my boyfriend's steak and lobster was amazing as well. The mashed potatoes... Were pretty bland. Had jumbo shrimp cocktail whick you can't really mess up. Well the view is phenomenal and that is what is the best thing about this place, when I was a kid I ran around this restaurant while my friends dad was working on this place. My family has grown up going here, my dads and my wife’s dads favorite place. Both have passed since Good food, great salad bar, great memories here
If you don’t have cash for the valet, make sure you read around and download the app to pay... valet attendants won’t tell you till your outside waiting for your car in the middle of the cold. Also it took over 30 mins to get a table even w/ reservations.
Celebrated my daughters 21st birthday here and we held our wedding reception there too thirty years again this October. Let’s deal with the obvious first: view and dining in what feels like an old mining company are sure to please. The food was very good but I was a little disappointed by the lack of salad bar options this go around. No egg. No pees. No meats (ham or turkey). That would be my only criticism.
