I got my wisdom teeth out a week ago and the whole team was super friendly and really nice! Definitely recommend!
My daughter recently had her wisdom teeth removed at Pikes Peak Oral Surgery. From the first consultation to the post-surgery follow-up, our experience was great! Dr. Kunkel explained the process to my daughter, helped alleviate our concerns, and took great care of her (she is generally not a fan of dental procedures). The staff was very respectful of our time, had our prescriptions ready and was very friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Kunkel and his staff!
Dr. Kunkel is a superb oral surgeon with a wonderful staff. My husband is a general dentist who refers many of his patients to Dr. Kunkel -- with excellent results. Last week Dr. Kunkel removed my son’s wisdom teeth. He and his staff were very skilled and caring! My son experienced only minor discomfort and has completely healed -- we could not be happier with the outcome. I was referred to Dr. Kunkel to have a cyst removed. During the consultation; Dr. Kunkel explained everything regarding the procedure. During the surgery they make sure you are as comfortable as possible, and Dr. Kunkel is very gentle. He called that evening to see how I was doing. The staff is very friendly and knows you by name after your first visit. A few days later, I even received a card signed by the entire office saying they hoped I was recovering well. :)
For years I have struggled with having a deep split in the middle of my lower lip that would never heal. I went to see Dr. Kunkel about this to see what his thoughts were. He performed surgery and removed the scar tissue. He and his staff were super professional and friendly. You can tell they really care about their patients. I would highly recommend them for anyone needing any type of oral surgery.
Dr. Kunkel performed my tooth extraction and prep for a dental implant. His office staff is friendly and efficient. Dr. Kunkel even called me at home later that day to see how I was doing! Not many doctors who take the time to do that anymore. Thank you Dr. Kunkel and staff. You made me feel so much more comfortable that this whole process is going to be a positive experience.

Pikes Peak Oral Surgery was fantastic. I was not too nervous going into my wisdom teeth removal, and they proved that there was absolutely no reason to be worried. You are in good hands with Dr. Kunkel and his staff.
My wisdom teeth extractions was already scheduled but one of my teeth got an infection and I was in so much pain. Dr Kunkel and his team got me that morning and by that afternoon I was having surgery. I already had fear of dentists, needles, and IV sedation. Him and his caring staff made me feel at ease from start to finish. I will recommend him to anyone who needs his services!
