Since this office became Optum, the service has been less than mediocre with the office staff. They have no since of urgency with referrals. Before they became Optum, the staff would call once a referral was approved to provide the information over the phone so you can see the specialist right away. Now it is radio silence. You will know the referral is approved via mail, which delays treatment. Once my referrals are closed, I am going to find a doctor outside of Optum.
The office staff here is not very helpful. They need to understand patients go or call because they need medical attention. We had to have the surgery center call them and make them do their job to get an appointment urgent. Hopefully this review gets to the physician since she probably doesn’t know the bad staff she has.
