Very happy with optum, they are starting to listen to my concerns and walk me through my medical plan.
Nice staff, but unfortunately VERY hard to reach on the phone. You have to carve out 45-90 minutes of time to wait on hold, listening to a message telling you to bring your medication bottles, ID, insurance, and to arrive 15 minutes early, interrupting the hold music every twenty seconds. This location is nice to go into in person, but extremely frustrating to call. I would highly recommend adding a callback or voicemail feature at the very least. I’ve gone here since I was a child but am finally parting ways with Optum. The experience I had in fall 2025 solidified my decision. My original primary care physician left before my standing appointment, and I was not notified by the office to get a new one to refill my prescription. Once I finally came in for an appointment, they told me I had to pick a new physician since I was only seeing a nurse practitioner.
