RecommendedWhen I moved to Frederick 16 years ago I asked my new neighbor what Veterinary Clinic she recommended. Needless to say, it was Opossum Pike Veterinary Clinic. There aren't enough words to express how much I love this clinic. All the doctors are fantastic. All the office staff and technicians are fantastic as well. They are so caring and helpful. Great staff who are great at what they do. They listen, are kind, capable AND affordable. We really appreciated Dr Stastney's quality care of our bird.
Everyone here is wonderful! We had to travel from Hagerstown because we had an egg-bound bird, and this was the only veterinary clinic anywhere around that had a vet who was comfortable with treating birds. I highly recommend this place!

Everything your family needs for vet care. Dr Mike and Staff take care of your pet, and understand completely how much your pet means to you, from beginning to end. Our pets mean the world to us, and deserve top care, like we receive from Opossum Pike Veterinary Clinic. I give them my highest recommendation.
I have known Dr. Mike Schaden for 34 years and he has been the primary vet for 8 of my pets. Losing a pet is very difficult but Dr. Mikes compassion at this difficult time helped me realize I was doing the right thing. The caring staff got me scheduled within the hour so not to prolong my dogs agony. I can't say enough about the doctors and staff!
