RecommendedI’ve been taking my FIV+ cat to Opossum Pike vet for several years now after being referred there from family who takes their dogs there. Dr. Stastny continues to provide the BEST care for my cat. I relocated to Rockville and tried a new vet, but within a year I decided to go back to Opossum Pike. I now commute to Frederick because they go above and beyond for their clients. If you are worried about cost, they are very reasonably priced and provide honest recommendations for treatments, referrals, etc.
expensive, no one knows what the other person is doing ,provides estimates and then does not honor them. Tells you they have no available appts for the next day so call back and they say if you would have called yesterday....BTW-I wrote a post on the website and they blocked it from being posted. Taking my dogs and finding a vet that cares abd dosen't provide false information!!!!!!!
RecommendedI took my duckling here to see Dr. Stasny because she has deformed legs. All of their staff were very welcoming and I really appreciated that they fit me into their schedule. I will continue to recommend and use Dr.Stasny for my ducks!

I have been using this practice since I moved to Frederick, MD in 1994. I moved an hour away to PA in 2004 and still use them. The relationship is well worth the 55 minutes it takes to get there now.
