I’ve been bringing my birds here for almost ten years now. My blue-crown conure especially loves Dr. Stastny; he actually gets in his carrier willingly now because he knows it means he gets to go see his friends at the vet! � The staff is always friendly, and super reliable in an emergency. I have a lot of peace of mind knowing that we have quality avian care so close to home.
I drive an hour to see these vets. My dogs stay calm and that alone amazes me. Usually all over the place and can't settle. Had three in there at once for the first time and they all layed down on the floor in the waiting room. This center keeps to their schedule, and when we went into the exam room, they all layed down again and waited patiently. The vets all have a calm, quiet manner, which my dogs respond favorably to. A friend referred me to them for bird care. Definitely worth the trip!
Our boy Jake hurt his tail and they fit us in to see him on Saturday morning. He sprained it, and they were very gentle with him while checking it out.
We have been going to this office for the past 14 years. They are the best. Just yesterday I had to take in Rowan in for some bumm work. I highly recommend this place.

When I moved to Frederick 16 years ago I asked my new neighbor what Veterinary Clinic she recommended. Needless to say, it was Opossum Pike Veterinary Clinic. There aren't enough words to express how much I love this clinic. All the doctors are fantastic. All the office staff and technicians are fantastic as well. They are so caring and helpful.
