Customer feedback on leased Subarus at Open Road is very mixed. I am near Parsippany NJ Where there is another dealer. My friend goes there and loves it. So go there to buy/ lease... not here!
The finance manager was very aggressive with me and yelled something at my back as I was walking out the door. Ridiculous that this type of behavior is tolerated. He may have been mentally challenged and if that is the case I apologize for my review.
They sold my boyfriend and I a faulty car. The car had the same parts replaced multiple times and started completely falling apart just after a month from purchasing it, all with issues that the dealer failed to mention upon purchase. They tried to sell the car for thousands more than they had listed it for, which my boyfriend talked them down from, only to sell him a car that wasn’t worth a dime.
My son, a veteran, bought a car in December from Open Road Subaru. It immediately started having issues. This dealership wouldn’t help at all. They took the money and didn’t care at all about the car trouble. It seems they willfully sold a faulty car. Don’t buy from this dishonest dealership.
Bought a 2004 Subaru Forester xt. Less than one month later the turbo and the catalytic converter go bad. Then the oil pump and head gaskets. They won’t do anything for me of course. Now I have to sell this car to a junk yard because all the repairs are more than the value of the car. I’m out thousands of dollars.
RecommendedThis was my first experience buying a car myself, and everyone at Open Road Subaru made it such an easy process. Steve Wolfe did a fantastic job getting everything set up and I love my Impreza!
Not friendly and couldn’t answer any of the questions I had about the features on the car . Meaning Sales associate is not trained about the car your purchasing . Very frustrating experience. I think it’s just Union .
