First and foremost, get better blood tests. Second, start returning calls. Third, update your computers! You do have a location on Blanding Blvd in Jacksonville regardless as to what your Donor Advocacy Team believes. I know first graders that can run your business better than what you are doing.
The Bloodmobile opened its doors late at the Marco Island site. Most of the people in line to give had issues with the online appointment process so arrived as walk-ups. Even though there were empty donation beds, even at the beginning of their day, they sent home people who were waiting to give. They acknowledged they had open appointment slots throughout the day but still wouldn’t take let us wait patiently outside. I just have to say TWICE I've gone to this and the bus was disgusting and filthy. Teenagers were there running it. it was awful, and I was SO DISAPPOINTED + upset that both times I decided NOT to give blood. VERY UNSAFE, UNCLEAN AND NOT EXPERIENCED. PASS ON THEM.

Checked there web site to make an appointment said there was 3 spots every 15 minutes but when I tried to click on them it said there was no appointments this was at there facility in Lake Park FL. I live close enough to the facility that I stopped by to see if they could get me an appointment. No help at all didn’t seem care that they needed the blood or maybe they don’t. Just spreading fake news that there is a shortage. Will try CSL Plasma in Riviera Beach tomorrow to see if they need any donations.
Communicate with waiting donors instead of wasting our time. Staff doesn't care about our time and it shows. They make donors wait outside the bus and they don't come out to communicate that their rules have changed. Their is a blood shortage but staff doesn't care about waiting donors. as a regular donor I am hugely disapointed
