Terrible place to use for a blood draw. Staff very confused; they apply rules that make zero sense and waste your time. More bureaucratic than the Post Office or DMV!
Gave blood today as the bus comes to my job. Luccia was great and made me a ribbon. She was funny and it was truly a great experience. I am a pass out girl towards the end and she stayed way ahead of it. Didn’t even see spots.

I use to give blood regularly at One Blood just to donate, after a series of bad experiences I stopped donating. I was then diagnosed with a condition where I produce too much Iron and have to have normal blood draws (every 8 weeks)to remove the excess iron so instead of going to the hospital where they simply discard the blood I decided to give One Blood a call to determine if they can use it and was told they can. So I began donating at One Blood again. It has become increasingly harder with each donation since. 1) Rude fr... read more

Our friend who is also a latin celebrity went to donate blood. He understands english for the most part but he has trouble understanding some words. There was one question he wasn't sure what it meant so he asked a friend that was with him. He's an american citizen, and the attendant on the Big Red Bus #5009 in Florida got mad and told him he could not donate because he did not speak english. This type of discrimitation should not happen, not in the situation we're in. Just because he had trouble with one simple question? He... read more
