We were so excited to donate blood (first time for me), but struggled to find Red Cross locations to donate at. So my father (who’s O-) and I found a drive through OneBlood and scheduled appointments in Wellington. When we got there, the woman greeting us was very rude. I tried not to think much about it, but it being my first time donating I was very nervous and she made it much worse. Then she told me I couldn’t donate because of my weight.
