Went to Oviedo Mall today to donate. Gary, Allison and Ruth were all amazing. One Blood and its employees are top notch.
Business response:
Thanks for donating and sharing your positive feedback Dianna! 😀
This company is a total disgrace to the LGBT Community, we are people too. I have O- blood type which to my knowledge is the rarest blood type and they refuse to accept my donation just because I’m gay. This is absurd and ridiculous. I can’t stand on the side lines and not speak my mind. Enough is enough. Horrible company
Donated today at the Seminole Mall. The ladies were nice and professional.
Business response:
Hey Carol, thank you for sharing your positive experience and stepping up to save lives. ❤
Have now been trying for days to get them to delete all my personal information from their system. I call and call and nobody is every around to help. Got one voice mail saying they can’t delete my information, even though their own privacy policy on the website says you can have it deleted at any time. This place is a joke! 💩
Even though I was unable to donate because my temperature was over the limit when I arrived at the blood drive today, I want to say that Trish at OneBlood was very professional and kind, and most of all patient in explaining the policy to me! I seen one poor woman yelled at while she was drawing my blood, just because she gave someone and extra orange juice. Poor woman was in tears trying to put the needle in my arm. I will never donate with them again
Three strikes. 2019 - huge bruise due to a platelet infiltration caused by a staff member’s inattentiveness. 2020 during pandemic lockdown - half the staff did not wear masks in a OneBlood facility where I gave blood. Last week (4 months into the pandemic) as Florida continued to experience record infection and death rates because of COVID-19 — staff member assigned to me during a blood mobile donation wore her mask below her nostrils. I could see up her nose during covid-19. And she stood right next to me. 4 times I asked h... read more

After over a month of leaving messages for Oneblood to reinstate my donation privileges I still have not heard from anyone who can help me They respond publicly on FB but I have been told on at least 6 occasions that someone from the Donor Advocacy Team would contact me and it has not happened.
