Recommendedfirst time donor, the one blood donation center that I went to in St. Petersburg made me feel comfortable and after awhile I was relaxed enough to donate blood.
What better gift to give to someone but the gift of donating blood to your local One Blood or Red Cross. With my donation today I've reached 13 gallons.

I went today. I haven't given blood in almost 40 years! I used to give half pints (when I weighed less) for Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. I decided to go after seeing the busses around the area. Susan and Alex were really nice and explained everything very well. The procedure was done in no time. So excited to get a cool tee shirt and a gift card too! I'm signing up to give every 56 days. It makes me feel good helping people.
Save lives. I believe that I am doing the right thing by donating platelets for cancer patients. When I do red blood cells too, I am pooped for the day.

Have donated in Palm Beach for 20 years and all was great - every time. Donated in Orlando/WinterPark for the first time and will never donate again. Staff unfriendly, not wearing masks nor gloves, beds very close together. Disappointing experience:( Also, ended up with a 2" bruise on my arm which isn't a big deal, but it's never happened any other time.
