Always a good experience there, but today was the best! Love the new non-stick iron test and loved Robin!!
I'm a regular platelet donar thanks to the awake people at the St.Pete location! They do a great job of keeping track of when I can donate so I can donate very frequently!
Went to donate today, it was my first time donating, lady drawing my blood was very unprofessional, rude and when sticking me kept missing the vein and had to keep moving the needle around (instead of just taking it out and resticking me) , then said you just can't donate, my arm now has a huge bruise and knot and is so sore i can hardly move it! Very disappointed
I live in Miami, Florida and donate blood as often as I can. I just donated yesterday on St. Patty's day. I float around to different locations and even some buses when I donate but let me tell you how WONDERFUL the OneBlood location on SW 144 st and US1 (in Perrine) is....I wanna say there's a man there named Maurice (but I can't remember) He is always so cheerful and personable. He truly makes you feel like a hero, thus making this location my favorite!
Everyone that works at the Plant City, FL donation center is absolutely AWESOME!!!!
Changed from 5 to one after today's shitty experience, from now on I will keep what's in my veins! Also, for the sake of future donors please don't hire fat tattooed up phlebotomists that act extremely unprofessional, I was at the South Lake High School Blood Drive, and she was extremely rude, not to mention disgusting with that coffee cup tattoo, to anybody listening, playing obnoxious music. I would advise you to take your hard made blood elsewhere from now on, until new people are hired.
The donation center is the best place to donate. I donate every 2 months and the phlebotomists are so friendly and caring. I will always donate with oneblood! :)
