When I heard about the tragedy in Orlando, I knew I had to do something right away to help. I was able to get online and make an appointment before the website crashed. I would like to give a shout out to all the ladies at the OneBlood Orange Park location. They were excellent and went above and beyond for each and every donor even though things were hectic and extremely busy (to the point of reaching capacity). I'd like to give a HUGE shout out to the ladies of Mobile #15 who were in Land O' Lakes this morning. They dealt with the madness in the best way possible. Erin and Lexi were great and did their best to make everyone feel comfortable.
Cheers to the staff at the Fruit Cove Baptist Church (suburban Jacksonville) blood drive today for their tireless work and positive attitude. Like all the blood banks around Florida (I'm sure), the response to the Orlando tragedy was overwhelming at this location and the ladies manning this Big Red Bus did an amazing job handling the load. A big THANK YOU to those workers for going above and beyond!

So I donate all the time I am a veteran and I have always donated anytime and every time I can as a way to give back but the past two times I have gone to give blood I have felt like I was a hassle for y'all to take my blood and today a lady missed my vein and then blamed it on me not a good experience and I think I'm done donating blood with y'all I will find somewhere else to do it
I donated today at Lake Mary OneBlood office, instead of the bus like I did last time. I was very happy with the people there and my visit. I would give 5 stars for my experience but I had to take away one "point" for the needle LoL... I know there's nothing that can be done about that. I do have to say if I was the owner of OneBlood I would give them all raises as they treated me very well including the maintenance fellow that works for the company.
