RecommendedFirst time donor and I was a little nervous. I got on the bus and was immediately put at ease, answered some questions filled out the electronic forms and then got the vitals checked. Got in the chair, had some good conversation and the process started. I got a little sweaty and tired and was given some juice and cold packs. It took a little bit for me to recover but they all made sure I was feeling good before I got up. I would definitely recommend them!
A super-friendly and professional staff that made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Looking forward to my next time!
I tried to donate blood today at my University and I got all the way to them putting the needle in my arm. They had a new guy try to get my vein. No blood was coming out after the snapped the wire to go into the baggie. So a second guy tried moving the needle around 3 times. Then a third guy tried the same. Needless to say they didn't get any blood. My arm is bruised and bleeding still 5 hours later and I'm pretty sure my vein is a mess from them poking around. So much for trying to do a good deed.
Staff was not friendly. Ladies were unprofessional and I would never donate to One Blood. Staff didn't even say sorry after I was there on the bus for 2 hours and unable to donate because my iron count missed by by 2 points, not even a t-shirt for trying to give and save lives!!!
I donated whole blood at the Thomasville, GA branch today. It wasn’t quite a milestone donation. Today’s donation made 19 gallons. All donations have been either Whole Blood or Red Blood Cell donations. I’m proud to be a donor at OneBlood.
I just hit my one-gallon mark! The staff are always professional, yet friendly and kind to donors and each other. I’ll keep coming back!

The staff at every donation site I've gone to are very friendly and professional. it also helps that in addition to helping to save lives you can often receive a fantastic gift for donating, such as movie vouchers, food vouchers, t-shirts & hats.
