Unusual/alternate fare, odd portions, ridiculously TINY and expensive mixed drinks (one of most overpriced/undersized margaritas). Four of us ordered the pumpkin soup special; it was brought to the table in one service and divided unevenly (notably less for last pour) yet all charged the same steep price, with no offer/ability to even-up the portions, or care when shown to server. Super food! Very different but totally approachable. And the menu's always changing which is awesome!
My husband, my best friend and I drove an hour and a half after seeing the Chef's Breakfast featured on the Food Network's Best Breakfast's of America. Honestly the food was Amazing! Both guys had the Chef's Breakfast and everything was on point. I had Lamb and it was equally as amazing. We weren't done with our meals before we were planning our next trip up for brunch. Terrible service and meal, emailed directly to One eared stag with no response.. $250 later will not go again..
I ate here on 6 Dec 2014 between the lunch and dinner service so the menu was very limited. But that was ok because they had exacty what i wanted: The Meatstack! That burger was beautiful! Perfectly cooked and sesoned well. The burger was served on top of some tasty fries, crispy with a soft inside. However, while it looked cool, i think the steam trapped under the burger caused those underneath fries to become soggy cause they werent as crispy as the others. I also order two oysters.
