One Eared Stag

4.3

About this business

Armed with a bold menu of delicious American fare, One Eared Stag has a rustic feel to it, given the many heads of goats, deer and cows that decorate the walls. However, the meal is far from rustic with classy varieties like rabbit rillete, welsh rarebit and duck breast. The menu is changed from time to time, thereby thereby retaining its freshness in the minds of regulars. Wine is served to complement the food and heightens the appeal. Owing to its popularity, be sure to call ahead.

I can't get over the meat stick. Such an amazing burger. I want to try other menu items but I can't help but order the burger again every time.

The burger is probably the best I have ever had.

The biscuits, the burger and the ham steak were off the chain. Very, very good. I didn't like the chip on the mug but realized all the dishes at our table had chips. The chip on the mug looked recent and I wondered if it landed in my coffee. I finished the coffee and there was no chip but didn't care for the suspense. How could I forget the tasty donuts? The best ever!

Egg was over cooked - brown. Ham steak was tough. Cream for the coffee had a floating bug. Won't be back.

My new favorite restaurant in Atlanta. The brunch chicken and waffle was off the charts good. And the hamburger was one of the best I've ever had. Very cool laid back atmosphere too.

Service was good and food was terrible!! Chefs you need to taste your food!! You missed basic seasoning like salt and pepper. Also fried chicken was flavorless, tasted and looked like it was fried in dirty old oil.

I brought friends in town from California in for Sunday brunch. Atmosphere and food were very good. Servicer was not very knowledgeable about menu and seemed to be rushed. Server was very reluctant to explain food and gave poor descriptions of the food. I'm a chef and been in the industry for over 30 years. Train service staff when creating specials, they should know what it is and how to explain it. Bloody Mary's were awesome.

Hubs took me here for my birthday dinner. Food was very good but the service was excellent! With so many yummy restaurants in the area, it's service like we received that will keep customers coming back. Thanks for a lovely experience.
