Home Advisor found this company when I asked for help regarding an old sump pump. Within a couple of hours their tech was out here, tested the old model, and found it not reparable. By 3 that afternoon a new sump pump was installed and working, which I am very grateful for. The cost was slightly over the high end of googled posted estimates, but who knows how old that post was. The work was done efficiently and pleasantly. Much appreciated !
We were very happy with John Jordan, the other technician and One Call Plumbing. They were able to come quickly to solve 2 clogged drains. They encountered a difficult problem, kept us informed of the progress, solved it and got things working again!
As far as the tech's are concerned, I had absolutely no problem they were just attempting to do the assigned task. I am a Sr. citizen with a limited income but the quoted price was mind boggleing, outrageous, $446.00 to replace the inner parts of the tank and tighten a screw on another tank that was leaking! Needless to say that quote was declined. The whole assembly can be purchased almost anywhere for a minimum of $15.00. I had a fantastic experience with Patrick and his assistant Harris. They were on time came up with a quick estimate, and performed the work in the estimated time for the quoted price. Now, the price was a tad high, and took me back a bit, but I am not a plumber and accepted the quote. Patrick and Harris worked diligently the entire time they were in my home, and the final result is brilliant! I am again able to take perfectly warm showers and regret that it took me forever to call and have this fixed.
The office staff were very polite and efficient. Alex arrived when expected. He was very courteous, kept things cleaned throughout the project, and worked efficiently.
After almost 30 years in Durham with at least 3 bad experiences with local plumbers, I have found One Call Plumbing Services and they are fantastic. The office personnel returned my call (left a message at night) first thing the next morning. Alex Devaughn was sent to my house that afternoon.
