Extensive gluten free offerings brought me back a second time and there will be many more! Had the gf Caramel Cheesecake for dessert and was so good! Great staff!!

The 5 stars are for the food, drinks & service, but I think the tables & chairs are from the very beginning of business, making them more shabby (I understand the antique look)but the chairs are very uncomfortable & creeky. Last night in my attempt to stand, I caught my slacks on one of the cracks & really thought I had torn them. We were very crowed at our table & the noise level was overbearing. Philipp is an awesome waiter, but food was not great. Should have been at least warm and it was not. Fried shrimp was almost bald, with little to any crust. Will be heading to Filipps in Danbury for our next Shrimp fix, not even going to mention the not done baked potato.

We love On the River! 1. The people who own, manage,and serve are wonderful. I saw the cook come out and talk to a customer. That is great service! 2. The food is always good. Fresh, tastes great, not greasy, or cold. Fresh hot food! What else do you need?
That was the best crawfish and all the employees was on top of it. never had to wait on refills. Food came out quick

Our first visit was last night, definitely will be returning. Friendly courteous staff, excellent service. The food was delicious. I can't remember our waiters name but he by far was the best we've ever had. �
