Horrible experience with this doctor, before even looking at my medical record said that I’m just too stressed and that’s why I’m in pain. When trying to tell him about my medical history and family’s history, he said I don’t need to worry about that. Asked me why I wasn’t happy and told him that he’s not listening to me and ignoring the pain I’m in. I have not seen such an arrogant egoistic doctor. He prescribed me low dosage of antibiotics. I requested him that in past I have issue with low dosage as it didn’t work. Unfortunately I had to take 3 times more powerful antibiotics for more than a month! Thus I got antibiotics resistance. Even after requesting him for several times, he just ignored me. This kind of doctors should not be allowed to work.
No. Just no. This doctor does not listen to his female patients. It saddens me to see that there are still doctors who would gaslight a woman into thinking her pain is just ”normal” pain when there is clearly more to it than that. Otherwise, I wouldn’t waste my time in the emergency room trying to figure out what’s going on. All we ask for is ethical doctors who listen to our problems and try to help us figure out the issue. Please don’t dismiss women’s pain, you’ll regret it later.
Dr. Ashouri listens, has a gentile and caring bedside manner, and is an excellent diagnostician. He brought me a peace of mind after talking with him over the phone.
