I went to the ER on the order of my PCP at the UW because I live in PA. The “care” I received was provided by a PAC which is not an MD! I spent the entire day in the waiting room waiting for a CT of my legs for suspected DVT’s. The care provided was terrible and the amount of time I spent waiting was ridiculous. I only went to r/o a serious problem because I know as a CCRN, BSN for 35 years that it as my only option. I avoid using OMC as much as I can. I had a fabulous experience with OMC labor and delivery. Everyone took excellent care of me and our new baby.
I got to tell you I'm very impressed with the ER. They were very quick and efficient with my issue. Very grateful! Great job. I also have used Olympic Medical Center Physical Therapy and they are amazing as well! From the staff at the front desk to Todd the physical therapist. I've had nothing but a great experiences from the Olympic Medical Center ER and physical therapy. Great job guys thank you for helping me.
Thankfully the nurses were very kind so nothing against them, and I did feel bad for them, but absolutely no one knows what’s going on here. They throw you through circles like crazy. Horrible treatment of patients, extreme wait times, etc. I waited for 12 hours in the ER yesterday for a kidney infection. She ordered an ultrasound because she wanted to look for kidney stones, then after running it and making me wait another 1.5 hours AFTER my lab results had already came back on my chart, she told me “it’s rare that kidney s... read more
Dr. Tong was fantastic. She readily addressed my husband's problems. The awful thing is he has to wait almost a month for a cortisone shot! Also, he tried to get into my PCP, but couldn't see him until December!!! The staff is great, however, the administration needs a lot of improvement. We a actively looking to go elsewhere. We would give zero stars if it weren't for the staff. The administration has dropped the ball as they are more concerned about the business and not health CARE!
