We stayed for an event. The lady at the check in desk appeared miserable like she hated her job, not what I wanted to deal with after long travels. Our smoke detector awoke the kids at 6 a.m. as it randomly went off for no reason and all I got was "um okay I'm sorry the battery must be dying." If a freak out smoke detector doesnt scare you and get your heart pumping at 6 a.m.!And there are no fans in the bathrrom so the mirror fogged up. What a joke! I don't think anything has been updated or taken care of since 2000. This place is literally falling apart, and filthy. I had my daughter's birthday party here, and was so disappointed. Everything was covered in dust , paint chipping off everywhere, electrical covers missing in rooms, no microwave, no pool towels! Oh, and you have to pay to go on the hot tub! I could go on and on. We had our daughters wedding there June 10, 2016. Hottest day ever and no air conditioning. The service was terrible, minors were allowed access to alcohol and the rooms were not updated and most of them had no air conditioning. They have done nothing to rectify this disaster, except offer me some vouchers to come back. They won't even answer our letters. Stay clear of this place, it's a disaster. Peggy helped us at check in time. She was AMAZING! So friendly and helpful! We did the girls get-a-way. Room was great. We had appetizers in the Indigo lounge. Bartenders were all great! We watched comedy, and the third performer was fun to watch! Had spa treatments which were really good!
Great staff, warm pool and a good night club. Large and very well equipped fitness center. Something for the whole family.
The place has a musty smell throughout. The place looks worn out and there are stains in all the carpets. Staff are not knowledgeable or even competent at all. There was a stain in the bed sheets. I wonder how this place stays in business. Meghan the manager was "too busy to get in touch in me " when I needed to talk to her about the fact that I was charged twice for my stay. The hallway on the 3rd floor smells burnt.
The resort has been up for sale so the current management could care less about the place. Nothing gets fixed, the roof leaks, most of the time there is no hot water and they can't keep any good employees. I would stay clear of this place! The only decent thing about the resort is the awesome Jewerly store inside the resort.
