this is move in day and the apartment is a filthy busted up dump
Think twice when you make a decision. Their staff does not hesistate to show their attitude when you need help. They say that their staff is available 24/7 when I moved in, but their manager behaved so rude when I asked assistance when a potential subleaser started to harrass me. They also did not want to reach their staff saying that she is not at the office. They are available 24/7, right?
This was my first year living at olde towne and if i wasn't graduating i'd do it again!!! Since I am graduating I am also moving earlier than planned! Please PM me if anyone is interested in subleasing my place! You have your own bedroom and bathroom! Thank you!!
An application was received by Olde Towne. They sent a contract, that was signed & returned within one hour. Olde Towne then called to say they had no rooms available and hadn't for a week. They had other rooms available but are unwilling to honor the contract that they sent. They did say that there might be other rooms available, but at a higher rate. Bait & switch?
I am going to be sub-leasing my room at Olde Towne as I am moving back to England in June, so the room will be available from the end of May, the contract is currently up at the end of July but can be extended as I won’t be renewing my lease. The room I have is the second largest in the apartment and has its own en-suite bathroom, usually it costs $599 but I am willing to knock some money off if someone was to want this room. I would not recommend Olde Towne. Maintenance is extremely slow in regards to responding to work orders. Recently, my roommates and I found a mice nest and two holes in the walls of our apartment (one in the pantry and the other in the laundry room) where they mice were getting in. When this issue was brought to the attention of the staff, their response was, "we have more important things to deal with".
