Amazing Food This is a great restaurant. The food tastes fresh and the seasonings they use are inspired. Whatever I've ordered I've always been completely satisfied and delighted with. Hickory Tap Room The Tap Room is the place all the locals go for great microbrewed beer. Their beer list is quite extensive and changes with each season. While the alcohol and atomosphere are a favorite of most locals, the food menu doesn't offer a large variety of dishes. This is a place we frequent after dinner on the weekends. PROS: CONS: not a lot of selection on the dinner menu
Olde Hickory Tap Room Bar & Restaurant I really like this place. Looking at it as a bar, it has a much bigger selection of beer, wine and liquor than any place else for miles. 22 Beers on Tap A great place to go have some micro-brewed beer. Their wine selection is exceptional. Excellent selection, exceptional bar staff and great food. This is a great place to go hang out and relax.
Good atmosphere This place has a huge variety of beers and a decent menu. Their food needs a little work. I have been there during both day and evening service hours and it is always busy. Their service is OK and prices are decent as well.
A nice place to hang out and have dinner (& beyond) Lunch is good, but my favorite time is dinner and later. They have a lot of good food options and more sides and appetizers than most. And I love the fact that they serve food late at night. Most places stop serving anything more than pretzels by 10, but the Tap Room serves until at least midnight. Stopped in for a late lunch and was confronted at the door by the resident maskhole. Very rude so I basically told her it would be ok we would go elsewhere. She made a smart comment while walking away. We have always enjoyed stopping in but we will not be back!
Food and drinks were great and our server was friendly and attentive. We had a party of 7 and felt very socially distanced in our corner booth. The staff was wearing masks and customers were required to wear masks, except at their tables. We really appreciated this and would definitely come back.
