We'd like to thank you for checking out the Old Millstream Inn Restaurant and Beer Garden. We have been in operation as a restaurant & bar for well over 25 years (though it's not polite to ask one's age). However, we were shut down from August 2006- 2008 due to a massive fire. A great place, and a great atmosphere. The customer service is fantastic.
We had a fantastic brunch there al fresco with my dog, VERY personable and accommodating waiter (sorry I forget his name, it's been a couple of months) will def go back here when in the area, LOVE this place, lots of history, great food, outstanding massive dog-friendly patio with many trees overhead and stream next door, so happy to have found it !!!

Went for the pumpkin glow event. Decided to try some place different. We arrived about 5:15. We finally got our food at 7:30. I realize they were busy but management was not prepared at all. We didn't leave because we would have had to wait again. My husband having diabetes needed to eat. Patio is nice but not for 2 hours. We missed the entire event, spent $40 for dinner. We will not be back.
Food was good. Bugs were awful. Service was poor. Very smokey.
This is one of my all time favorite places! I love the atmosphere, the old architecture, I love love the outdoor patio it is so relaxing and one of the best I have seen. The food and staff are great!
Friendly staff, good food, good beer selection and an intimate pleasant patio by a waterway. Dog friendly, even. Bartender brought out a bowl of water for my Pomeranian, along with my beer! Good mix of people, usually a decent crowd, but not overly crowded either.
