We'd like to thank you for checking out the Old Millstream Inn Restaurant and Beer Garden. We have been in operation as a restaurant & bar for well over 25 years (though it's not polite to ask one's age). However, we were shut down from August 2006- 2008 due to a massive fire. Such a cool Inn. Stopped in on Dec. 30 while down in St. Charles. Such a cool hang out with a large beer list. That's what we like to see when we come from Wisconsin
Cold afternoon and needing something to warm ourselves. The bar down stairs was a perfect oasis from the cold and snow!

We were looking for a good place to eat without much luck on a Tuesday while we were staying at the Ameristar. We headed down to Old St. Charles and searched for a good place. We found the Old Millstream Inn and were happy that we made a great choice. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I just had my leftovers and it was awesome! All staff were very friendly as well and we loved our waiter. Try their specialty fries. They are awesome.
Just need better wait staff.
Just had a fantastic experience! I've eaten outside with Charlie before but today it was just a tad chilly and we were welcomed into the downstairs bar and treated like family! Charlie loved all the attention and the atmosphere and Mommy and Grandpa loved the Portabella Mushroom and Cheeseburger!
Brought my family here for dinner on a Friday night, got seated right away, had a great server and our food was delicious. Thank you for the hospitality!
