About this business
History Established in 1998. It was a rainy Mother's day in 1998 when we discovered the 75 acres and abandoned farm house at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. With the help of family, friends, and a local grape grower, we soon began working to transform the property into Old House Vineyards. Today, the formerly overgrown alfalfa fields are lush vineyards producing grapes for our award-winning wines. We celebrated our sixth wedding anniversary here this weekend and it was so wonderful! From the scenery and the homemade soups to the distillery experience and wine tasting, everything was great! We will definitely be back and we're looking forward to the future brewery that will be coming onsite. Even the owner took time out of his busy day to snap a photo for us and then chatted with us, this place is truly a gem!

Working with Allison and Pat at Old House Vineyards is always a pleasure :) I know that whenever booked for a party or wedding there with Allison and Pat. everything runs so smooth that even with bad weather things are well in hand. One of the most Beautiful Ceremony spots in all of VA ( the island is breathtaking )
