About this business
History Established in 1998. It was a rainy Mother's day in 1998 when we discovered the 75 acres and abandoned farm house at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. With the help of family, friends, and a local grape grower, we soon began working to transform the property into Old House Vineyards. Today, the formerly overgrown alfalfa fields are lush vineyards producing grapes for our award-winning wines. Beautiful vineyard with a unique style to include a distillery. I will definitely be back!
Our first visit and we really enjoyed it!! Wine tasting, nice wines, oven baked pizza, well maintained facilities inside and outside, friendly owners & staff, and a distillery onsite, everything you could want to pass the day away!!
Just went there this passed weekend with my beautiful girlfriend she absolutely loved it and brick oven pizza was on point must have we also join as members looking forward to spending more time there
Really enjoyed myself and for it to be my first time at a vineyard. The distillery was my favorite and how it had all the WW2 memorabilia. Most of all was the hospitality that the employees displayed. I could see myself getting married on the grounds, so beautiful. ....
We've been going to Old House for years now. We LOVE the atmosphere and the wine. Today we tried the distillery... what a great experience! Our server was knowledgeable on her products and the history behind them and the museum. Love knowing that they are expanding to include a Brewery. If you have never been... GO! You won't be disappointed.
