About this business
History Established in 1998. It was a rainy Mother's day in 1998 when we discovered the 75 acres and abandoned farm house at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. With the help of family, friends, and a local grape grower, we soon began working to transform the property into Old House Vineyards. Today, the formerly overgrown alfalfa fields are lush vineyards producing grapes for our award-winning wines. Yesterday was my first visit with a few friends and I must say it was just delightful. The wine was amazing, and everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. They also have a distillery and it was very cool as well. The grounds are gorgeous and can't wait to go back in warmer weather. This is definitely a new favorite of mine and it is only 40 minutes from Fredericksburg.
We have been here sfor break times with different visitors. Everyone always loves it. Our server yesterday Christine was awesome. She told great stories about the wine
