The Old Homestead Steak House first opened in 1868 and it remains a straightforward, old-fashioned steakhouse without sacrificing any of the modern amenities. In this sense, thankfully, it is no longer that difficult to get Kobe beef from Japan, which probably wasn't on the menu in 1868. Most of the dishes are priced in the higher range, but are well worth your money.

Perfect!!! Congratulations hamburguers i need go to eat Big New York city
Party of 6 last Saturday night, 9/24/16. I ordered a Center Cut Sirloin, Med Rare. It came out Medium. I sent it back. 30 minutes later everyone else was finishing their meal. At this point I'm ok with just Mac and cheese and asparagus For dinner. Everyone else had bone in Prime Rib and Filet Mignon which was satisfactory with them. Nobody came to apologize or tried to make things better. I expect a lot when I dine in NYC. Long Island steakhouses blow this place away. Will not be back!
An excellent experience in an upscale old school steakhouses. Classic presentation by classic servers. Everyone should take a chance, blow the budget and enjoy this type of wonderful opportunity
