The Old Homestead Steak House first opened in 1868 and it remains a straightforward, old-fashioned steakhouse without sacrificing any of the modern amenities. In this sense, thankfully, it is no longer that difficult to get Kobe beef from Japan, which probably wasn't on the menu in 1868. Most of the dishes are priced in the higher range, but are well worth your money.

Food was magnificent. Service was mediocre. They were nice but passed over us multiple times. Wish they had been more attentive.

This was my first time here and Was very disappointed with the service. Salad and apps came together quickly, then waited over 30 min for the steak. Waiter just says “its coming!” - does not care. Steak was good but I probably won’t be back.
