Can't believe I've never left a review - best beans in the city and the most friendly staff!
Charming shop nestled on a cobblestone street in Olde City, recommended by friends it did not disappoint. The coffee was flavorful and the bagel was freshly toasted with generous cream cheese. You're given a cup and fill it yourself from an urn for either hot or iced coffee, a bit convenience store as having a full cup handed to me appears as if the coffee was prepared just for me, as fresh as possible a subtle nuance but one that makes the experience more special. Very charming coffee shop atmosphere but was shocked by the self service! AND the out of hand tip culture once again while paying. All they do is ring up your order and you pay. Shouldn't I get a tip for serving myself? The coffee was decent but feel today's prices are too high everywhere. Plus not sure how fresh it was since it sits out on the self service bar. So 3 stars for the obnoxious tip prompt and 1 star as there is no service ~ you serve yourself.
