We visit here about 1-2 times per month. The food is always fresh and service is always great. Granted sometimes the service gets a little slow when they're slammed, but hey it's totally understandable in such a high volume place. We have never had anything but impeccable servers. They're friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating in every way. Old Chicago is our favorite date night place.

Shout out to Te’Vell for getting our party seated so quickly! We came in with a rather large group late in the evening, and the place was very busy, but he worked some sort of magic and we were seated with hardly Any wait. He even kept us entertained while we waited!
Food is what you would expect from a chain. Nothing great but always consistent. What separates them is the staff. I go to OC because of the service! Outstanding staff and management!
I agree with the post below about slow service. We had an identical experience yesterday. It wasn't busy at all, poor service, kid's meals came out late and one was forgotten. $8 for not even a full pint of beer, large cheese sticks couldn't even feed one person, as i looked around the restaurant there were a lot off people waiting and looking upset. Sorry to hear you weren't satisfied with your visit. It is a goal of ours to execute perfectly every guest every time. But we do fall short from time to time. As far as the $8 high gravity beer you purchased, you are correct, it is not a full pint. We do sell all of the beers with a high alcohol by voulume in a smaller glass in an attempt to responsibility and safely serve our patrons. Do not seat patrons at a booth that's still dirty and then proceed to wipe the benches before you wipe the table, WITH THE SAME HAND TOWEL! The Sunday evening "Seater" either needs to be retrained or, if he was being purposeful, terminated! We should have just left at that point. And the rotten lemon wedges, that the server brought for the drinks, were a nice touch too! � The food was decent, once we got it, almost 45 mins. later. O. C. Good food, awesome drinks, and very nice and polite staff. My husband and I had one of the best dates we have had in a long time! We will definitely be going back soon. :)
We had such a great time here. Our server, Natalie was new but was wonderful and attentive but had lots of personality and made time to actually engage in conversation with us. We had a minor problem during our visit and it was resolved very quickly and the manager Wendy came out and went above and beyond to resolve everything. The food was delicious and more filling than we could ever possibly eat. What more could you need!

Great place to hang out, great food and service. Benny is the best bartender too. I love their appetizers especially the pretzel bites and I love their thin crust Hawaiin pizza.
