My brother was here for a month in October and all the nurses and doctors and surgeons did a good job
My son had a calf and hip disease well he still does but thanks to this hospital they helped him by putting the hip back in the socket, we had to be there for pretty much that summer but they were the best dr. And nurses and staff that I have ever met. They really care for the children and their families.
Back in the late '40s early '50s my younger brother was in Doernbecher for surgery (telescopic bowel) us older kids had to stay in the pick-up, in the parking lot, with a box of Zwieback, I was maybe 4 or 5, to young to go in in those days. In 2000 my grandson was at Doernbecher, he needed a liver transplant, what a wonderful place for new parents to be with such a sick baby, they were allowed to stay with him 24/7 and were treated with so much careing and compassion.
